Marcos is playing at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships in Memphis this week and has been drawn to face Japan’s Kei Nishikori in the first round of the ATP World Tour 250 tournament.
Should Marcos advance to the second round, he faces a tricky clash against either Tommy Haas or eighth seed Sam Querrey - who defeated Marcos in the San Jose first round last week.
World No. 6 Andy Roddick leads a top quality field in Memphis this week. The American is a potential quarter-final opponent for Marcos, with James Blake, Lleyton Hewitt and Mardy Fish possible semi-final opponents in the top half of the draw.
