The tour moves onto Miami and the second ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Tournament of the season. Marcos again has a bye through the first round, courtesy of being seeded No 25.
Marcos is already in Miami, adapting to the humid conditions there, after the dry heat of the desert.
Marcos is again in the top half of the draw and will open against either Paolo Lorenzi of Italy or Argentinian, Juan Ignacio Chela. Although unseeded at this event, Chela is a former top 20 ranked player. Should Marcos proceed to the next round, he could face big serving Croatian, Marin Cilic; while waiting in the quarters is World No. 1 Roger Federer. So not an easy draw for Marcos.
Only Juan Martin Del Potro and Nikolay Davydenko are missing from the top 10 ranked players in Miami.
