Cyprus has defeated Portugal 3-2 in the Europe/Africa Zone II Davis Cup tie.
At the end of the contest the team thanked their fans for the marvellous support during the three days.
Marcos won the fourth rubber in straight sets 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 to give Cyprus the victory.
Portugal had the consolation of winning the dead rubber making the overall score Cyprus 3 Portugal 2.
Cyprus now goes on to face Ireland July 10-12.
