Marcos won his third rubber of the tie to guarantee Cyprus victory against Morocco in the Davis Cup. Cyprus will now go on the play the Ukraine in the next round.
Marcos beat Yassine Idmbarek 6-4 6-1 6-0 to ensure his third victory and the passage of Cyprus. Marcos won all of his rubbers without dropping a set, and will now hope to continue his good form into the rest of the season.
