Marcos won his second ATP Challenger Tour title in as many weeks on Sunday as he defeated Mikhail Kukushkin 7-6(7), 6-4 in the final of the Cal Open Tennis Championships in Aptos.
"Like the matches before, I kept very strong mentally and I pushed my limit and found a way to win," said Marcos.
"I focused on what I know to do and not trying to do something I don’t do in practice or change my mind, my game, my plan because of an opponent. it's just trying to play the game I’ve been working on and the game I am supposed to play without doing anything more or doing anything big."
"It’s been a long run the past two or three years with injuries. Winning last week and this week, is a good sign."
