Marcos will face Russian No. 14 seed Mikhail Youzhny on Wednesday for a place in the third round at the AEGON Championships at the Queen’s Club.
Marcos takes a 2-1 career lead into the clash, having won the pair’s past two meetings on hard courts at Marseille in 2007 and 2008. However, Youzhny did win their initial meeting, which came on grass at Wimbledon in 2005.
World No. 44 Youzhny has enjoyed strong clay-court results in the past month, reaching the final in Munich – where he finished runner-up to Tomas Berdych - and reaching the semi-finals in Kitzbuhel. He opened his 2009 grass-court campaign with a straight sets win over Spaniard Oscar Hernandez on Monday.
The match is scheduled first on Court 1, with play beginning at 12:30 p.m local time – weather permitting.
