Marcos will look ahead to his return to the All England Club for the Wimbledon Championships next week, following a first round defeat in Antalya.
Making his comeback to the court after suffering a left hamstring injury at Roland Garros, Marcos was defeated by Blaz Kavcic 7-6(4), 6-3 at the Turkish Airlines Open Antalya. It was their third head-to-head encounter, having split the previous two.
Marcos is looking to find his form after the injury forced him to pull out of a first-round match against Santiago Giraldo at the clay-court Grand Slam. He now moves to Wimbledon with a 20-12 record at the prestigious tournament.
The 2018 Wimbledon Championships begin on Monday, with the draw being released on Friday.
