With the Olympus US Open Series just underway, Marcos is preparing for his first tournament under the guidance of new coach, Miles Maclagan.
Marcos has parted company with former coach, Guillaume Peyre, and is building up for the US hard court swing with Maclagan. Great Britain’s Maclagan formerly worked with World No. 4 Andy Murray and more recently with German Philipp Kohlschreiber.
Marcos is set to return to action on 25th July at the Farmers Classic in Los Angeles, an ATP World Tour 250 event. From there, he will compete at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington D.C., where he finished runner-up to David Nalbandian last year.
