Marcos is currently training at the IMG Academy in Florida, where his family will join him for the upcoming couple of months.
“I’m happy to be at one of the best tennis academies. They have great facilities and everything is run so smoothly,” said Marcos, who is looking forward to getting on the court, working hard and finding his rhythm.
President and Founder of the academy, Nick Bollettieri, extended his welcome to Marcos on Twitter, saying, “Welcome to Bradenton Marcos. Glad you are moving to the Academy. Let me know when you need some Italian advice.”
Marcos’ next tournament will be the clay-court event in Houston, where he has been given a wild card to compete alongside John Isner, Tommy Robredo, Nicolas Almagro, Fernando Verdasco and Lleyton Hewitt. The ATP World Tour 250 tournament begins on 7 April.
