Marcos will make his long-awaited return to action next week, as he looks to help Cyprus in its Davis Cup Group II tie against Tunisia. Marcos has been on the sidelines since the Australian Open in January due to a right foot injury. After an extensive period of rehabilitation and training, he is ready to hit the courts once again. He provided the following message for his fans:
"I am finally glad to be given the go-ahead from my doctors to start my training and get back on court," Marcos said. "Having taken time to treat my ankle, I am now looking forward to being back on court and I am working hard together with my team to maintain my fitness and get going again. I was glad for the positive report from the doctor so I can also take part in the Davis Cup tie next week! See you in Cyprus!"
