Marcos will begin his campaign at the Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur 2010 on Tuesday against Japan’s Kei Nishikori.
World No. 123 Nishikori has been heavily hindered by an elbow injury this season, and has only compiled a 3-7 tour-level match record. In the past two months, though, the 20 year old has begun to find his form, winning an ATP Challenger Tour title in Binghamton and defeating Marin Cilic to reach the third round as a qualifier at the US Open.
"I expect a tough match. He has been playing well recently and I can't wait to test myself," said Nishikori. "My elbow is fine now and I do not anticipate any problems with it."
Marcos has played Nishikori once before, beating the right-hander in straight sets in Memphis last year. Check out their full head-to-head details here.
The match will take place not before 6:00 pm local time (11am BST, 1pm Cyprus) on Center Court on Tuesday. Check out the full order of play here.

On Monday, Marcos went to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, along with Russian No. 4 seed Mikhail Youzhny, whom he could face in the quarter-finals this week. The Bird Park is the world’s largest indoor aviary and Marcos and Youzhny had the chance to see exotic species such as the Wreathed Hornbill, the Malay Eagle Owl, the Barn Owl and the Brahminy Kite Eagle.
“It was a nice and fun experience. Especially going here with Misha, who is a great guy, made it even more fun," said Marcos after the visit.
