Marcos will open his singles campaign at the Prosperita Open against Lukasz Kubot on Tuesday in Ostrava.
On Monday, Marcos and his French doubles partner Sebastien De Chaunac bowed out in the first round of the doubles as they were beaten by Ivan Dodig and Marek Semjan 7-5, 2-6, 10-7.
Marcos will take to the court last on Tuesday, with play beginning not before 5pm CET.
Kubot, who – along with Oliver Marach – has shone on the ATP World Tour doubles circuit this season – notching the Casablanca title and finishing runner-up in Acapulco.
In singles action, the No. 183-ranked Pole has played one ATP World Tour main draw in Costa do Sauipe, where he reached the second round.
