Marcos will open his BNP Paribas Masters campaign against Sam Querrey on Monday in Paris.
It will be Marcos’ first meeting against World No. 41 Querrey, who is hoping to win his first match in Paris after losing in the first round on his debut last year against Andreas Seppi.
The 21-year-old Querrey has gone 27-25 this season, highlighted by winning his first ATP title at Las Vegas in February, defeating Kevin Anderson in the final. The California native has also been a semifinalist in Delray Beach and Indianapolis in 2008.
The first round encounter is second up on Court Central tomorrow, with matches beginning at 11am local time.
