Marcos played a superb match against Feliciano Lopez to clinch a dramatic draw for Pune in their second tie against Bangalore.
After losing the first two sets of the five-set tie, Pune won the next three sets to see the tie finish 24-24.
With the score balanced at 5-5 against Lopez, Marcos stepped up to win the tie-break 5-3. Marcos then teamed with India’s Saketh Myneni then won the men’s doubles.
Pune return to action on Sunday against Bangalore again. Marcos will compete in the men’s doubles, mixed doubles and the singles against Lopez again. The final match comes on Monday against Hyderabad.
