Marcos makes his long-awaited return to action on Tuesday at the Aegon Trophy, an ATP Challenger Tour event on grass in Nottingham.
In the first round, Marcos will take on German veteran Benjamin Becker. Marcos has won his past two contests with the No. 69-ranked Becker, not dropping a set in victories at the 2012 Australian Open and 2013 Basel.
The 32-year-old Becker enters the match with more match practice under his belt than Marcos, having played on clay in Houston, Madrid and Dusseldorf in the past six weeks. The right-hander’s best showing this season came as a lucky loser in Miami, where he reached the third fourth round.
The match is scheduled for third on centre court, with play beginning at 11am BST (1pm Cyprus), See the full order of play here.
