Marcos will make his debut at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel today as he faces Mexican wild card Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela in the first round of the ATP World Tour 500 hard-court tennis tournament.
World No. 502 Reyes-Varela will play his fifth career tour-level match (2-2 record) and his first ATP level since losing in the first round in Acapulco last year. After picking up his first two wins of the season the past two weeks in the U.S.A., Marcos will look to build with a strong start in Acapulco.
The match is scheduled for last on Cancha 2, with play starting at 4pm local time (GMT -6hrs). See the full order of play here.
The field in Acapulco is headlined by David Ferrer and Andy Murray. John Isner, Grigor Dimitrov and Kevin Anderson are also in contention.
