Marcos powered into the Geneva final on Saturday as he defeated qualifier Radu Albot 6-3, 6-3. Marcos converted six of his 11 break points and won 78 per cent of his first service points to advance in 82 minutes.
In Sunday’s final, Marcos will face Michal Przysiezny, who beat Simone Bolelli in the other semi-final. Marcos will face World No. 171 Przysiezny for the first time, with the match scheduled for 2pm local time.
Marcos is looking to win his fourth ATP Challenger Tour title of the season and the 10th of his career. He also triumphed this year in Nottingham, Vancouver and Aptos.
