Marcos is looking to finish the season in good form with a strong showing on the ATP Challenger Tour, beginning with the Geneva Challenger next week.
Hoping to finish the season inside the Top 100 in the Emirates ATP Rankings, to gain direct entry into the Australian Open, Marcos will bid for his fourth ATP Challenger Tour title of the season in Geneva.
Also playing in the Swiss tournament are Borna Coric, the 17-year-old Croatian creating a stir this week in Basel, Victor Hanescu, Jiri Vesely and Simone Bolelli, who has been nominated for the ATP World Tour Comeback Player of the Year award this season.
Main draw play begins on Monday in Geneva.
