Marcos will be out for revenge when he faces American No. 8 seed Sam Querrey in the second round of the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships on Thursday in Memphis.
Querrey defeated Marcos last week in the first round of the SAP Open in San Jose and also took the win at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Paris last November – when Marcos was forced to retire in the third set.
The 37th-ranked American has been in good form lately, finishing runner-up in Auckland and reaching the quarter-finals in San Jose. “This is the best I've ever felt," declared Querrey after his first round win over Tommy Haas on Wednesday.
This blockbuster second round match will be the final match of the day on Stadium played after Andy Roddick vs. Robby Ginepri, which starts not before 6:30PM local time.
