Marcos closed in on his fourth ATP Challenger Tour title of the season on Friday as he defeated Czech top seed Jiri Vesely 6-4, 7-5 in the Geneva quarter-finals.
Already a winner this season in Nottingham, Vancouver and Aptos, Marcos will look to reach the Geneva final when he faces Radu Albot on Saturday. The match is scheduled for third on Centre Court, starting around 4pm local time.
