Marcos’ pre-season preparations are going from strength to strength after he reached the final of the Copa Peugeot Argentina de Tenis on Saturday with a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Brazilian No. 1 Thomaz Bellucci.
The win backed up Marcos’ opening triumph over Juan Carlos Ferrero on Friday, and ensured he topped Group A at the six-player exhibition tournament in Buenos Aires. Marcos will face France’s Gael Monfils in Sunday’s final.
During his stay in Buenos Aires Marcos has been well looked after, and his coach, Miles Maclagan, sent us this photo of him drinking matte (tea) with Santi, one of the tournament organisers.
