After spending time during the off-season working very hard with his new team in Paris, Marcos is fit and ready to launch his assault on the 2009 ATP World Tour.
Marcos was at home in Limassol, Cyprus from 22-26 December to spend Christmas with his family. By all accounts, Marcos is in excellent physical condition, courtesy of a new fitness regime, and is extremely motivated to do well in the coming season after suffering through much of this past season with injuries.
Eager to adjust to the conditions, Marcos is already in Brisbane to prepare for the Brisbane International - formerly hosted in Adelaide – which begins 4 January. From Brisbane, he will travel to Melbourne for the AAMI Classic exhibition event in Kooyong to complete his final preparations for the Australian Open, which begins 19 January.
