Marcos will face Alexandr Dolgopolov on Friday in the quarter-finals of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow. For Marcos, it will be a chance to avenge the defeat he suffered to the up-and-coming Ukrainian in the Beijing first round two weeks ago.
World No. 56 Dolgopolov has earned his place in the last eight with wins over Russian qualifier Ilya Belyaev and seventh seed Sergiy Stakhovsky. The 21 year old is through to his first quarter-final since July, when he reached the last eight in Umag. His best result this season came in Eastbourne, when he advanced to the semi-finals.
The match is scheduled for last on centre court on Friday, beginning not before 7:30 pm local time (4:30 pm UK, 6:30 pm Cyprus). Check out the full order of play here.
