Marcos is joining the likes of Marcel Granollers and Jarkko Nieminen in representing TC Blau-Weiss Halle in the German Bundesliga this weekend. On Friday, Halle are playing Erfurter TC Rot-Weiss and Marcos will challenge Czech Lukas Rosol at 1pm local time.
After his first-round exit at Wimbledon, Marcos said, “I am forgetting all the negative energy that passed through me the last few months and then I am back on the practice courts to prepare for all the victories. Thank you all for the huge support it means a lot to me.”
Marcos will look to return to winning ways playing in the Bundesliga, before beginning his US Open Series campaign at the Citi Open in Washington on 29 July.
