Marcos will play his second-round match against Dominik Meffert on Thursday at the Trophee des Alpilles, an ATP Challenger Tour event in St. Remy, France.
World No. 174 Meffert has had a strong season on the ATP Challenger Tour, highlighted by capturing a title in Geneva at the end of August and finishing runner-up at an event in Sarajevo in March.

The 28-year-old German will face Marcos for the first time after battling past Kyu Tae Im in three sets in the first round.
