Marcos put up a strong fight against the 31st seed, Paul-Henri Mathieu, but eventually came up short, losing 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
Although Marcos out-aced his opponent, he did not display the same level of consistency on his first serve overall, and
this unfortunately proved costly in the third set as Marcos surrendered his serve twice.
Despite this loss, Marcos' return from injury is growing stronger with every tournament.
Marcos' next tournament will be the Status Open in Athens, Greece.
