Getting to know David Ferrer
World No. 12 Ferrer is looking to reach his second semi-final of the season after doing so at Auckland in the first week of the season. He reached the third round at the Australian Open, where he lost to Marin Cilic.
The 26-year-old Valencia resident has seven ATP World Tour titles and reached a career-high No. 4 in the South African Airways ATP Rankings in February 2008 – a year when he won titles at Valencia, ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
