Marcos features in the bottom half of the Serbia Open draw and will face a qualifier in the first round of the inaugural ATP World Tour 250 tennis tournament.
The first seed lying in wait for Marcos is No. 7 Arnaud Clement of France, who is a possible second-round opponent for Marcos should he defeat Steve Darcis. Marcos is in the same quarter of the draw as Croatian No. 2 seed Ivo Karlovic, whom he could meet in the quarter-finals. Also featuring in the bottom half of the draw is No. 3 seed Igor Andreev.
The top half of the draw features top seed and World No. 3 Novak Djokovic, fourth seed Andreas Seppi and fifth-seeded Serbian Viktor Troicki.
