Marcos will face home-hopeful Wayne Odesnik on Monday in the first round of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships.
Despite this only being the second meeting for the pair, Marcos will go into the match with added confidence, having defeated the American last year in Indian Wells on a similar surface.
However, World No. 100 Odesnik has enjoyed a strong hard-court and clay-court season this year. Notable performances include winning in Carson, as well as reaching the final in Houston, losing to former Wimbledon Champion, LLeyton Hewitt.
The match is scheduled last on Centre Court with play commencing at 2:00p.m. local time.
