Marcos’ Abierto Mexicano Telcel campaign ended in defeat in the second round as he was beaten 6-1, 6-4 by fourth seed Grigor Dimitrov.
Dimitrov, who is enjoying the best form of his career after reaching his first Grand Slam quarter-final at the Australian Open, broke Marcos four times as he claimed victory in one hour on Wednesday night in Acapulco.
