Marcos welcomes a new member to his team as he kicks of the 2016 season, bringing Mizuno on as apparel and footwear sponsor.
Embarking on his 13th season on the ATP World Tour, Marcos begins a new chapter of his career and will look to Mizuno to provide stability and comfort as he continues his ascent up the Emirates ATP Rankings.
After testing Mizuno's products off-season, Marcos believes it will be the perfect fit as he chases his dreams between the lines. "I am really excited to begin this partnership with Mizuno as they begin a new era in pro-tennis," Marcos stated. "Wearing durable, yet lightweight fabric and footwear is essential when you're battling for many hours on the court. It is important to have apparel you can rely-on in all conditions and I am confident that we can achieve a lot together."
The Tokyo, Japan based sports brand Mizuno is making its long-awaited return to the tennis scene as it celebrates its 110th anniversary. Established in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno, their corporate philosophy is simple: "Contributing to society through the advancement of sporting goods and the promotion of sports."
As the Grand Slam season commences down-under at the Australian Open, several top players will be wearing the popular brand, with Croatia's Ivo Karlovic joining Marcos.
"I'm really looking forward to the new season and can't wait to see the sleek designs Mizuno is preparing. I am very happy to have Mizuno supporting me."
