Marcos is through to the quarter-finals of the Trophee des Alpilles after German Dominik Meffert withdrew from their second-round clash injured.

Next up on Friday for Marcos will be either wild card Thomas Oger or sixth seed Stephane Bohli for a place in the semi-finals of the ATP Challenger Tour hard-court event in St. Remy.
