The draw for the LA Tennis Open has been made and Marcos will face Canadian Frank Dancevic in the first round of the ATP World Tour 250 tournament, which begins on Monday.
World No. 121 Dancevic is currently in the semi-finals of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships, but lost to Marcos in their one previous meeting on carpet in Zagreb two years ago.
Should Marcos advance through to the second round, he would face the prospect of either seventh-seeded German Benjamin Becker or American John Isner.
Also featuring in the 32-man main draw are two-time former champion Tommy Haas, Americans Mardy Fish and Sam Querrey and Russian former World No. 1 Marat Safin.

Marcos will be looking to improve on his one previous performance in Los Angeles in 2005, when he lost in the first round to Juan Ignacio Chela in three close sets.

Go, Marcos!
