The draw for the Farmers Classic pits Marcos as the No. 3 seed with a bye through the first round of the 28-man draw. The ATP World Tour 250 hard court tournament begins on Monday in Los Angeles.
In his opening match, Marcos will face either Belgium’s Kristof Vliegen or American wild card Ryan Sweeting. Marcos is drawn in the bottom half of the draw and is seeded to meet No. 6 seed Janko Tipsarevic in the quarter-finals; he practised with the newly married Serbian on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Also featuring in the Farmers Classic are World No. 4 Andy Murray, who accepted a late wild card, No. 2 seed and defending champion Sam Querrey, the in-form Mardy Fish and fast-rising Ernests Gulbis.

Marcos is making his third appearance in Los Angeles and will hope to improve on a first-round exit in 2005 and a second-round loss last year. He is joined in California by new coach, Guillaume Peyre and will be looking to make a good start to his Olympus US Open Series campaign.
