Marcos will return on Wednesday to complete his first-round match at the Serbia Open after play was suspended on Tuesday evening.
Marcos had won the first set 6-1, but had just surrendered the second set 6-3 against Italian qualifier Flavio Cipolla when play was called to a halt.
The players will return at 12 p.m. local time on Court 2 to complete the match.
