In the meantime, Marcos will look to match his doubles success with a quarter-final win in the singles against Canadian wild card Philip Bester on Friday. The match takes place on centre court, beginning not before 6:30 p.m. local time.
Check out Friday’s order of play here.
It will be Marcos’ first meeting against World No. 633 Bester, who ousted fifth-seeded American Ryan Sweeting to reach the quarter-finals. The 20 year old is enjoying his best week of the season so far, having failed to advance through the qualifying rounds in the two other ATP Challenger Tour events he has contested.
