Marcos and Eric Butorac fell at the final hurdle in Munich, losing the BMW Open doubles final 6-1, 6-4 against Jarkko Nieminen and Dmitry Tursunov.
Afterwards, it was a quick dash to the airport for Marcos as he raced to catch his flight to Madrid, but still had time to send his fans a quick photo with this message:
“Wishing all my Orthodox Fans a Happy Easter !..........all the way from Madrid airport.”
Marcos is now due to compete in the Mutua Madrid Open, where he will face Spain’s Tommy Robredo in the first round on Tuesday.
