After nearly two weeks of intense training in Argentina with his coach Eduardo Infantino, Marcos will take to the court from 17-20 December in the Copa Peugeot Argentina de Tenis, at exhibition tournament held at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.
In the seventh edition of the tournament, Marcos is joined in the field by defending champion Juan Monaco, 2002 Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian, former World No. 1 Carlos Moya, World No. 11 Fernando Gonzalez and 2004 Roland Garros champion Gaston Gaudio – a replacement for Marat Safin.

The tournament takes on a Super Six round-robin format with the players divided into two groups of three. The winner from each group will contest the final on Sunday. Marcos has been drawn in Group 2 with Monaco and Gonzalez, while Nalbandian, Moya and Gaudio comprise Group 1.
Marcos plays his first match on Friday against Gonzalez, and his second match against Monaco on Saturday.
